Your data stays yours
SadwikFiles requests access to your data only to do its job — storing, searching, and sharing the files you choose. Here's exactly what the app can access and the reason for each:
- Account & profile — your registration number and 4-digit PIN are used only to create and sign you into your vault. No email is required to register.
- Files you upload — your notes, PDFs, and code are stored to provide the vault. They're protected by row-level security so only you can see them unless you share.
- Google Drive (optional) — if you turn on backup, the app reads your Google email & profile to identify your account, and accesses only the files it creates in a "SadwikFiles Backup" folder on your Drive. It never sees, reads, or modifies the rest of your Drive, and you can disconnect anytime to revoke access instantly.
- Share links & public repos — generated only when you choose to share. Recipients never need an account, and you can revoke any link in one click.
